Indecision

Yes, I know these are essentially the same photo, but I liked them both, and it's my blog, so here they are.  :)

I think of summer and spring being the time to shoot all the wildlife that wanders through our yard, but it seems like fall is vying for a spot as well. As long as they aren't in the house, I'm okay with that.

Another Guest Moves In

When I was sitting outside on our stairs reading this weekend, this guy dropped from the tree behind me and flipped over on his back in his web. I couldn't see a bug, but he started rolling this small white bead of thread. As I looked through the lens, I could see he was creating it with his own silk. You can see it coming out of his abdomen! How cool is that!
