Maybe the yellow dictates a special archway to commenmerate dignataries who passed through at one time? Or the official entry way before renovations later? I'd wonder too. Great crisp lines! Fabulous eye, as usual!
Ooh! Those are great ideas, Lynn! I love the look of architecture, but I don't actually know anything about it. There was a building right next to it though that was very old brick, and they'd added very modern glass wings on either side connected to it. It reminded me of a botanical gardens, but very strange mix of styles, for sure.
