The Quiet That's Not

There's no suburban noise out here. No traffic and honking cars. No airplanes overhead, machinery chugging and whirring and screeching in the near distance. The people are spread apart, their voices lost in the vastness of the beach. But there are gulls and roaring waves and howling wind. And in that, there is peace.

  2. Thanks!! I was SO pleased with these beach pictures. Some of my best, I think. The textures and the clouds were spectacular.

  3. Lovely shot!
Just like there is sight and scent wherever you are, there is sound as well. Out here in the country we may lack the bells and whistles and cars, and squirrels (my those are chattery) but we have the wind and birds, and coyotes to make up for what we lack in city sounds.

  5. Your pictures are awesome. I have never seen such a beautiful of the sea and the beach. It is very beautiful. Maybe you were meant to be where you are now, otherwise how can you see so much beauty if you were travelling all over the world.
You are not only blessed to witness such scenes but also blessed to be such a good photographer to capture them and we too are blessed to see them.
