I found this site after you left a comment on my blog (I'll send you money later). Wonderful photos, this by far being my favorite! Though the one a few pages back of the bird diving without any blur is awesome - forgive me, but I do not recognize what bird it is perhaps as I live on the east coast or more likely, I am just an idiot.
Hi Deb!! This is probably one of my all-time favorites. :) The one of the bird - it's a pelican and an East Coast bird, but probably far too far south for you! - I must have taken over a hundred shots to get just a few decent ones. They were diving like crazy for the fish. I think I was actually standing in the water with my camera. Stupid me.
Love it. I wonder what the dog is thinking about. Mine would likely be watching for squirrels even in the snow.
