Beautiful shot! You had such a great weather day when shooting these too! When I think of thunderbirds I think of Tom Cruise for some reason. Not sure if that's what you meant, but Top Gun Tom makes me smile!
I too was totally thinking of Top Gun!! How can you not when you hear the whoosh of those engines? Ahhhh... good old summer memories! :)
We did have great weather! We got really sunburned since it was the first time I showed my pasty white winter skin off in shorts, but it was great for photos, and that's all that mattered, right? :)

Ahhh, I'm so jealous. We've got the Blue Angels on tape - they're amazing!
